PARTICIPANT’S RESPONSIBILITIES
You must at all times work within your own ability and scope of practice. If you are not confident in performing a procedure, you must immediately inform your tutor.
Procedures may involve ultrasound scanning of body parts and partial disrobing or exposure of body parts. If you have concerns about these matters, you must immediately inform your tutor.
MODE OF PAYMENT
Prior to joining the class, participants are expected that they already have paid their course fee in full. Only paid participants will be admitted to the course venue. The course fee does not include fees for flights or room accommodation unless explicitly written on the course inclusions.
CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION
The course provides practical knowledge but does not award a certificate of competency. You should inquire with your relevant professional body to confirm if the skills covered by the course are considered within the scope of your practice.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY
No photography/videography of the presentation is allowed. Only official photographers/videographers are allowed to take photo/video coverage of the event.
Course materials will be provided in digital modules only. The course materials are for your personal use only. It must not be copied, distributed, or provided to any third-party individual or organisation.
Your participation in the course will be documented. By participating in this course, you agree that these documentations may be used in promoting future courses. If you do not wish to be recorded, inform the Martinoli Ultrasound Team upon arriving at the course venue.
Non-compliance to the said policy will result to removal from the course venue without a refund.
VENUE AND FOOD
The course venue may have its own rules and regulations that must be adhered to. You may also be required to sign additional terms and conditions or contracts in relation to the use of the course venue. If you do not agree and comply with these, you will not be able to participate in the course and you will not be issued a refund.
Any allergies, medical conditions, or dietary requirements should be notified upon registration to the course.
REMOVAL
If you do not comply with these responsibilities, or we suspect that you are not in a suitable condition to attend or complete the course, we reserve the right to remove you from the course without a refund.
FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS
We welcome any kinds of feedback. If you experience any problems regarding the course, you shall bring it to the attention of the Martinoli Ultrasound Team as soon as possible to try and rectify the situation. If you feel that the problem was not resolved to your satisfaction, you shall inform us in writing through our Contact website page within 3 business days and we will respond within 3 business days to resolve the matter to the satisfaction of both parties. If more time is needed to investigate the matter, you will be informed within the said period, stating the reasons for the delay.
CANCELLATION
We reserve the right to cancel a course in the event that the relevant speaker and/or tutor is unavailable due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstances, if the venue is unavailable, if there are insufficient registrations, or for any other reason which is beyond our reasonable control. In this situation, every effort will be made to reschedule the course and if this cannot be done, we will refund the paid course fees in full. No refunds or assistance will be made for your travel, accommodation, or other arrangement that incurred any cost unless part of the course package.
Any paid course registration is non-refundable but consumable or transferrable.
To appoint an alternative attendee, you shall inform us in writing through our Contact website page the details of your course registration and the alternative attendee. By nominating an alternative attendee, you must ensure that they have read and accepted the Course Terms & Conditions and that they comply in full.
COURSE CONTENT
We will endeavour to cover all the topics outlined in the course information with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with practices consistent with the professional standards in the industry but accept no liability for failure to cover all or any part of those topics and reserve the right to vary the course contents at any time.
Neither the statement of objectives not any other matter contained in the course information shall constitute representation, condition, or warranty by us that the course provider will achieve the objectives stated or otherwise achieve a particular level of knowledge or competence.
LIABLITY
Our total liability shall be limited to the course fees paid or payable by you or your sponsor in respect of the course.
PRIVACY POLICY
We collect and store any information you enter on our website or give us in any other way. This includes information that can identify you (“personal information”), such as your name, contact details, and other such information that can personally identify you. This allows us to provide you supplementary information about our courses or to survey. At your request, we can remove your information from our database, but you will not be able to receive updates from us.
We may share your information with our local organising partners and machine providers but not any other parties not mentioned, except reasonably determined to be required by law or by governmental authority, or as necessary to provide services in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to change, at any time, in sole discretion, the Course Terms and Conditions under which courses are offered.
GOVERNING LAW
These Course Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with international laws. If any provision of these terms shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with the law of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not an any way be affected or impaired thereby and shall remain in full force and effect.
