It covers detailed anatomy, scanning techniques, and pathology evaluation in the Pelvis, Hip, Thigh, Knee, Ankle, Foot, Medial & Posterior Ankle, Plantar and Hindfoot, and Posterior Leg areas. Live demonstrations provide visual examples for accurate identification of structures, complemented by hands-on practice on live volunteers to enhance skills. Interactive discussions and Q&A sessions consolidate knowledge, spanning from fundamental principles to advanced applications, empowering participants with refined expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging.

Through lectures and practical interactive sessions, participants will be able to use ultrasound as a tool to DIAGNOSE:

• Distinguish and identify anatomical landmarks, normal anatomy, anatomical variants, and pathologies.
• Interpret and differentiate sonographic apprearances of normal anatomy, anatomical variants, and pathologies.
• Acquire scanning techniques to dynamically assess and obtain ultrasound images of relevant anatomy.
• Generate and optimise ultrasound images using appropriate machine controls, settings, and transducer selection.
• Navigate ultrasound artifacts.
